Autorenporträt
Jeff Grace is a retired teacher of thirty-one years and found his passion to write at the University of Calgary, where he received a Bachelor of Education degree as an elementary generalist. His love for working with Grade 5 and 6 students and hockey prompted him to rekindle his love of writing in his retirement years. He lives in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, where he lives with his wife. Having been born in Maple Creek, Saskatchewan, and coming to Calgary when he was four, he had little knowledge of farm life. However, his wife grew up on a farm near Frontier, Saskatchewan, sharing many stories of farm life and that style of living. What caught his eye most as an author was the astounding amount of hockey players that had made the professional ranks from the Frenchman River Valley area where his wife grew up. This story is based upon many of those stories and adventures gathered during family reunions and discussions with his wife's many relatives. Hockey is a passion in many a young person's heart, and you'll enjoy this regardless if you're a hockey fan or not.
