This is 'Part-2' of the 2-part Book titled "The Legendary Story of Lord Hanuman-spanning the 3 Eras of Treta, Dwapar and Kali Yugas". Part-1 is published simultaneously alongside with this 2nd Part. The 1st Part narrates the story of Lord Hanuman from the time of his birth till the end of Treta Yuga, the age of Lord Ram. During this long period, Lord Hanuman had served Lord Ram all along, and he was a favourite devotee of Lord Ram, much loved by the latter and very close to him. The present Book is the 2nd Part of this legendary story of Lord Hanuman, narrating his life and time during the two eras that followed the Treta Yuga, i.e. the Dwapar Yuga, the age of Lord Krishna, and the Kali Yuga, our current age respectively. This part of the story is narrated elaborately in chapter nos. 5 and 6 respectively. Authenticity and evidences are established by quoting directly from ancient texts and religious books, such as the Mahabharat, Srimad Bhawata Mahapuran, Valmiki Ramayana and Adhyatma Ramayan etc. To maintain continuity between Parts 1 & 2, an interesting episode that describes how Hanuman had rescued Lord Ram and his brother Laxman from the clutches of Ahiravana, the demon ruler of the nether world, has been included in the very beginning of this 2nd Part, as an independent chapter no. 4. Besides narrating Lord Hanuman's life and times in a systematic and a well-structured manner, this Book also deals with many fascinating aspects of his personality, such as his character, special qualities and virtues, the many boons that were granted to him, why he loves the red vermillion powder, and the question 'was he actually a monkey as he has been said about him'. All these fascinating aspects are elaborately narrated at the end of the Book in chapter no. 7. The narration is authentic as it is based entirely on different classical books and religious scriptures where Lord Hanuman is mentioned. All that has been said about him in our Book is supported fully by quoting relevant texts directly from a wide variety of ancient classics, such as Valmiki's Ramayan, Adhyatma Ramayan, Tulsidas' Ram Charit Manas & Kavitawali Ramayan, Mahabharat, Srimad Bhagwat Mahapuran and Skanda Puran. Roman Transliteration of the original texts is included for easy reading, and it is followed by a verse-by-verse elaborate English rendering that explains all aspects in clear and simple terms. Lord Hanuman is one of the most revered and universally honoured deities in the Hindu faith. Almost all followers of Hinduism offer worship and prayer to Lord Hanuman. The Lord is believed to be an incarnation of Lord Shiva, and he is invoked and worshipped as he provides all round welfare, care and protection to his devotees; he protects against evil eyes and helps his devotees to overcome difficulties and problems in life. Lord Hanuman is very easy to please, and even a small prayer to him would please the Lord.
