Autorenporträt
Gina Hayes-Shell, is a native of Hayneville, Alabama. She received her bachelor's degree from the prestigious Tuskegee University, and went on to receive a masters from The University of Alabama, both in the field of nutrition and dietetics. As a child, reading and writing were her first passions. She began writing short stories as early as age 10, and she kept a daily diary from age 11 years old through the first year of college. After several life-altering events including a divorce and the sudden loss of her youngest brother, she began to journal again as a part of her healing process. Most of the journaling has been translated to stories in this book. She currently dedicates her life work to the improvement of others through leadership models of empathy and self-actualization to operate in their highest level of excellence.
