Autorenporträt
Stewart Cooke is a retired English and American Literature teacher (Dawson College and McGill University). He is the co-editor of volumes 3 and 5 of the Early Journals and Letters of Fanny Burney and editor of volume 2 of the Court Journals and Letters of Frances Burney and volume 1 of the Additional Journals and Letters of Frances Burney. In addition, he has edited two of Frances Burney's plays, Elberta and Hubert de Vere, as well as her first novel Evelina and has published articles on the Burney family.
