He is victorious forever. The spirit of Jesus now dwells in His believers. Now His body on earth will secure the victory in the temporary realm through His power. Death will be swallowed by victory. Mortality will be swallowed by life. Arise, shine--your light has come. The earth will be filled with the knowledge of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.
