When his seventeenth birthday came around, young Dave Moreau decided he wanted to strike out on his own. His dream was to become a notorious and feared bounty hunter. He also had dreams of going to his native homeland in search of the man who had left his mother to raise Dave and his sister alone. Eventually, both dreams would be realized. Being a bounty hunter was second nature to Dave and he fell easily into it. When he learned that the outlaws wearing the highest prices on their wanted heads had a tendency to seek refuge in Canada where extradition was not honored, Dave decided to follow. It wasn't long before his skills at tracking down and bringing in wanted men was noticed by a Canadian Mountie named Jacques Thorston. Thorston convinced Dave to don the infamous red coat of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. Dave's reputation as a Mountie who always got his man quickly earned him the nickname of Klondike Dave. He would not realize until he returned to the States a few years later to resume bounty hunting just how far the legend of Klondike Dave had spread. He was also surprised to find that he had also been dubbed as Montana Moreau, one of the most famous bounty hunters of all time. What started as a dream of a seventeen year old boy, quickly became the legend of a man who always brought back the outlaw he sought.
