Brenda Dalton Clemens researched the background information for The Light Will Come during her first husband Robert Clemens terminal illness. As a Christian and a lifelong student of the Bible, imagining the trials of the 1st century Christians helped her in the healing process after his death. Brenda Clemens (B.A. from Maryville College and M.S. from the University of Tennessee) is retired after 38 years of teaching French. She currently lives with her second husband Lowell Sneed in Maryville, Tennessee.
