Autorenporträt
Kathleen Olmstead is the author of several Classic Starts books, including Anne of Avonlea and Moby Dick, as well as Jacques Cousteau: A Life Under the Sea and Matthew Henson: The Quest for the North Pole, both in the Sterling Biographies series. She has also written three other Silver Penny Story books: Pied Piper of Hamelin, Thumbelina, and The Steadfast Tin Soldier. Scott J. Wakefield graduated from Art Center College of Design and has worked as a freelance illustrator for national childrens magazines and major publishers such as Scholastic and McGraw-Hill. His most recent picture books are A Crack in the Night (Story-Express) and Woodchuck Chuck (Envision Books), and hes also illustrated The Three Little Pigs and Little Red Riding Hood in the Silver Penny Story series. Scott lives with his family in Aurora, CO.
