Melody is the founder of the Black Fashion Week USA brand( www.blackfashionweekusa.com) which has been featured on a host of tv, radio and print media including Good Day Chicago Fox 32, ABC7 Chicago to name a few, She is also one of the recipients of the Outstanding Women in Fashion award by Honorable Judge Dorothy Brown circuit clerk of Cook County, IL
