Dr. Russell Grigg has taught history in the University of Wales Trinity Saint David for more than 20 years. He has an in-depth knowledge of the county and its history, and has written popular and academic articles and books for local magazines such as Carmarthenshire Life and the University of Wales Press. Dr. Grigg frequently gives talks to local history societies. He has also contributed to Look Up Your Genes, Our Century: Carmarthen, and Who Do You Think You Are with Griff Rhys Jones.
