This book honors the Little Fir Tree's spirit of survival. Dr. Jane J. Jenkins is a master storyteller, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who lives in the Roaring Fork Valley in Colorado. In the 1970s she created the PBS series "The Magic Teapot." She collaborated with artist Janet Grenda on "The Adventures of Harry the Hamster" in 2001 and, in 2009, "The Further Adventures of Harry the Hamster."
