Autorenporträt
Victoria Ashton has traveled the world as a career flight attendant for 40 years. She commuted to work by plane from her home in Virginia Beach. There she raised two children, Katie, and Dylan, both who still inspire her every day. Dedicated to God, family, and work, Victoria and her children support each other in all endeavors of life. Victoria's first book, "Living with the Band", has helped many people get through Lap Band surgery by teaching what to expect, before and after. She is proud that publishing this book has helped many people change their lives. Victoria wrote "The Little Girl Who Lost Her Sleep" when her daughter was young, and she used to read it to her at bedtime. The talented illustrator Mike Woodcock made the story come to life, and she is proud to share it with children everywhere. Her second children's book, "Sunny Sounds", written for her son, is in production with Mike, and will be presented soon. Victoria's mother Nina, passed January 2021, and Victoria is heartbroken she is not here by her side. But Nina knew the stories well and would be thrilled at the beautiful way Mike Woodcock displayed them. Victoria wishes to thank all who have supported and encouraged her writing.
