Rick Neumayer's debut novel, Journeyman, was published in September 2020 by Fleur de Lis Press. Hotwalker, his first novel in the Jim Guthrie Mystery series, was published in 2021 by Literary Wanderlust. Rick has also published short fiction in many literary magazines, and three of his full-length Broadway-style musical collaborations have been produced. A career teacher, he has had a wide variety of experiences, including working as a newspaper reporter, book reviewer, literary magazine editor, and singer in rock bands. He is a Louisville native and resident with degrees from Spalding University (MFA), University of Louisville (MA), and Western Kentucky University (BA).
