Autorenporträt
Jennifer Silkman is an Australian author who grew up in the beachside suburb of Stockton, in Newcastle NSW.Jennifer left her nursing career and moved to the Hunter Valley with her husband, where they raised their family and launched their own business in the Hunter Valley wine industry. In 2019, Jennifer joined Kelly Hine's online Soul Space community where she delved into the fascinating connection between the conscious and unconscious mind. Understanding that everyone has the ability to rewire their brain through awareness, presence and choice of thought, was an empowering realisation for Jennifer. This newfound awareness, along with the peace she felt after reading the beautiful account of Anita Morjani's NDE in her book, 'Dying to Be Me', instilled a desire in Jennifer to communicate this knowledge to children, in a way that helped them to feel calm, happy and less anxious.Jennifer and her husband now spend their time between the vineyards of the Hunter Valley and her 'happy place' north of Newcastle at Bluey's Beach, where her inspiration for this book began.
