Together with Max and Minty, they learn to begin channeling their gifts of Karatax awaiting them, and over time, they become acquainted with their new paths. Now although the children are human just like us, Max and Minty are not; they are known as nuumahs. They dwell in a small town named Karrak, along with so many other nuumahs, who have been all together involved in a war that has been raging for at least a millennia. This battle has been waged against an evil foe called suulids, which is the negative of themselves. So just as humans have good and bad folk all around us, so do they, except in Karrak they have an actual name for them. When the children realize they have a major part to play not only by being partners with Max and Minty's Karatax but also because they're human, it actually adds to their strength, especially when the Karatax begins to enchant them one by one-beginning with their destinies! Max and Minty continue on with the fight between the nuumahs and the suulids, slowly bringing in these three gifted children to become as powerful as they are. The children hold an ultimate strength of their own against the suulids just by being human, combined with the Karatax awaiting them. Max and Minty finally feel that there's an end to this perplexing war, with a door opening for these three brave children. This gives them hope!
