Barry Kohl graduated from California State University with a degree in Communication. He has authored several novels, both drama and comedy. He has also authored several screenplays. "The Littlest God" is a theater of the absurd look at America's legal system by taking a situation to an extreme. It is meant to show what kind of baggage judge's bring to their jobs. It also deals with what could happen when you protect your own. Mr. Kohl has also authored a political satire using the disgust people have of the current two-party system. They elect a third party candidate who admits to being a swinger is elected because of his honesty. The title is "Thump," but no based one former president, but the sound one might hear when someone or a political system falls on it's butt. Mr. Kohl has also authored a drama about a young man who flees Austria just prior to the Nazi incursion against his father's wishes. When the Nazis occupy Austria, the son who is safe in America has the burden obtaining the funds to save his family. The family dysfunction continues in America when the older brother becomes financially successful by joining a criminal group, while son who saved the family works a menial, but honest job while working his way through college. Mr. Kohl also collaborated with Mr. Joseph Harrison and Mr. Marcel Wilson on a drama. The story centers around a white man raising two families in the 1950's South, one white, one black. The son he has with a black woman appears white and has exceptional athletic prowess. The father tries to get him to pass as white, while the son identifies with blacks. The father earns his money finding music, mostly in the black community where blacks had their music ripped off for a fraction of what it was worth.
