Sherryl Clark (Author) Sherryl Clark's first children's book was The Too-Tight Tutu which was published in the Aussie Bites series in 1997. Since then she has published almost 70 children's books, including Sixth Grade Style Queen (Not!), Motormouth and Runaways. Sherryl is also the author of the Rose books in the Our Australian Girl series and Jimmy's War in the Do You Dare series. She has had two collections of poetry for adults published by Pariah Press - Edge (1990) and Thicker Than Water (1999). Sherryl teaches fiction and poetry writing in the Diploma of Arts - Professional Writing and Editing at Victoria University, and is currently undertaking a PhD. Tom Jellett (Illustrator) Tom Jellett is an Australian illustrator based in Sydney. Tom has been an editorial illustrator for News Limited, working on The Australian, The Weekend Australian and The Daily Telegraph and his work has appeared in the South China Morning Post, The Week and Medical Observer. He is an acclaimed children's book illustrator whose work includes a series about a little pirate (The Littlest Pirate), books about a teddy bear called Ted (Ted Goes Wild, Ted Gets Lost and Ted Hits Town) and the Sporty Kids series, written by Felice Arena. His picture books with Justine Clarke and Arthur Baysting, The Gobbledygook is Eating a Book and The Gobbledygook and the Scribbledynoodle have been Australian bestsellers. His other acclaimed picture books include Why I Love Footy and Why I Love Summer with Michael Wagner, and Grandpa's Big Adventure written by Paul Newman. In 2011, Tom was included in the editorial category for Illustrators 53, exhibited at the Society of Illustrators, New York.
