In the Crafts discipline, the focus on practice is the educational foundation to avoid what can be called "banking" education. Everyone who sets out to educate needs to choose the type of education he or she will take on. The tendency to link the duplicity of knowledge, that is, the local knowledge and the universal school knowledge, with the aim of developing the learner's operational skills and solving the learning problem at school, is enhanced today by education. Considering that the proposal of the local curriculum is to form students capable of contributing to the improvement of their lives, the lives of their families, the community and the country, starting from the consideration of the local knowledge of the communities where the school is inserted, educators react against educational dualism to overcome the antagonistic character between universal school knowledge and the practices of daily life. The summary is understood as a consensus reached from the realization thatthe knowledge of the local curriculum and the universal school knowledge are products of culture and should cooperate together for a good creative learning of the learner.
