Charles Davies is an Independent Journalist and Author. His journalism career started in 1993 in Freetown, Sierra Leone. He emigrated to the UK in 1997, like so many others with the help of the British Government, following the brutal civil war in that West African nation. He is a strong believer in a fair and independent press in a truly representative democracy. He has funded and continue to campaign for the return of parliamentary democracy in Sierra Leone. He is a paid-up member of the British Labour Party, but has not always agreed with their policies especially, the party's policy towards Trump and his administration, an issue featured in his book, Getting Trump - the ultimate Trump book exposing the media bias against the US President.
