Francine grew up reading all genres of books, Her favorites being science-fiction and mystery books.She wrote The Lonely Chameleon to inspire kids by relating to Charlie the Chameleon. Her desire to help children with self-esteem pushed her to complete this incredible work on fiction. Francine hopes her early reader chapter book will aid in the process of kids learning to love themselves for who they are.Francine started out her career working as a Veterinary Technician in Animal hospitals. Later she worked as an Animal Control Officer. Francine began writing articles for animal magazines mainly about nutrition and behavioral issues in cats.Eventually, she started writing science-fiction books for middle-school aged kids, then moved on to writing short stories for younger children.Francine was born in Brooklyn, NY and now lives in Virginia, with her husband, two sons, and their cat Zoey."When you believe in yourself, you can accomplish anything.
