The purpose of the report is to provide The Long Street Travel Centre with a marketing strategy that includes recommendations on what products The Long Street Travel Centre should offer during the FIFA World Cup Football 2010. The Long Street Travel Centre is a travel centre that specialises in over-land tours, safari s and adventure activities in Southern Africa. Research has been conducted on what South Africa and especially Cape Town has been doing in order to deliver a well organized and great World Cup Football. As well, market research has been conducted on what people are expected to visit during the event; including the amount of people, where people will stay and most importantly, what they are interested in; with main focus on what products people would like to support a football team with. Furthermore, previous World Cup products have been analyzed as well as the unique circumstances of South Africa and Cape Town. By combining all these aspects, a marketing strategy including World Cup products recommendations has been developed.
