Take, eat; do this in remembrance of me.' (Cor: 11. 24) They'd been celebrating 'Passover', that is, the feast of the Jews after their slavery in the reign of Pharaoh Thutmose III, who'd been made to let them leave for the land God had promised them in Palestine (c. 1446 BC) when Azrael, the 'angel of death' had passed over them to kill the firstborn of the Egyptians, and so it was that Azrael had called the Jews to God's 'Promised Land', Azrael.
