Joe Bob Boyd has written numerous short stories throughout his life, but they lay in his roll-top desk drawer untouched for decades. Working as a farmer and rancher, preacher, husband, and father kept him extremely active with little time to devote to personal writing, although he managed to find time to write a short story here and there. Born in a small wood-framed house, December 19, 1943, Joe Bob grew up understanding the difficutlties of living and working on a farm, but his love for writing proved to be the creative outlet he needed. Joe's craft of writing heartwarming short stories and poetry affords readers various experiences that prove timeless.
