Autorenporträt
Catherine Doyle grew up beside the Atlantic Ocean in the west of Ireland. Her love of reading began with great Irish myths and legends, and fostered in her an ambition to one day write her own. The Storm Keeper's Island was her debut middle-grade novel, inspired by her real-life ancestral home of Arranmore Island where her grandparents grew up, and the adventures of her many seafaring relatives. Catherine lives in Galway. www.catherinedoylebooks.com @doyle_cat
Rezensionen
Even better than its wonderful predecessor. It's laugh out loud funny and heart-breaking in equal measure, with stakes so high that you can barely catch your breath until you turn the last page. This book is one to treasure and it marks Catherine Doyle as a breakout star in middle grade fiction
