The ranch becomes a sanctuary home for the families, two Hispanic and one Anglo, as they combat the repeated ranch invasions. Alex Sanchez battles his own personal demons as he fights off the intruders and attempts to save his marriage, his family and the ranch from disaster.The outcome is a new reality, in which each family must come to terms, carving out their future, in a world of little certainty.

Autorenporträt
Randolph E. Rogers grew up in Bad Axe, Michigan. He earned an M.A. graduate in English in 1990. Rogers wrote for various publications as a food writer, under the pseudonym, Randolph Wolf. Rogers, wrote, produced and hosted two regional television lifestyle shows. As a grower and rancher, Rogers was a founding director of the Central Coast Ag Coop. Two collections of short fiction were published in 2017 by Distorted Visions in Carmel, California. Rogers resides in Paso Robles, California on Woodpecker Ranch Vineyard.
