Unfortunately, that can also include the national sentiment you see around you every day, and this second book also explores some deep-seated foundational issues which previously made this country entirely unique. Much of that foundation has been lost at this point, and this new chapter in Steven's adventure takes him on a journey to rediscover his purpose, at a time when the country is forced to also rediscover its own. Undoubtedly, this work will not be for everyone, but again, if the first installment of The Madman struck a chord with you, the second might also provide you with some enjoyable reading and education.
