This book is about a journey. The journey of how creating magic with children has magically transformed my personal and private life. Once I became the Claus, I realized how wonderful it is to allow children to believe in something positive. Children grow up, far too soon. This book is about a journey. The journey of how creating magic with children has magically transformed my personal and private life. Once I became the Claus, I realized how wonderful it is to allow children to believe in something positive. Children grow up, far too soon. This book is about the joy and wonder children experience when the big guy in the red suit listens to them. Being the Claus has allowed me to abandon the traditional "Naughty and Nice" list. I am not the arbiter of good and evil. Nor am I capable of sitting in the judgement seat. Since I chose to not be the "enforcer" God has provided me the freedom to help guide children. I endeavor to help them find within themselves a way to be kinder, more gentle people. Also, to experience how good their lives can be when they do no harm to others. Mine is a spiritual journey to also find the best person, I am capable of being. The journey has evolved from searching for a "Gig" to make a few bucks, to helping children of all ages find and become what God intended for them to become. The most rewarding thing for the Claus is helping children find how rewarding it can be to "Pay it forward."
Autorenporträt
Being Retired and Living in a small town in Southwest Pennsylvania, I have been given the honor of serving God's people as a Lay Minister, a volunteer at a crisis center/food pantry and the "official" town Santa. My life and home are blessed by the company of my bride and two dogs. Being Claus is far more than putting on a red suit and a fake beard. It is a state of being that transcends life itself and bringing out the best in all people. It is about being grounded enough to be fully human. A human comfortable enough with my existence to help children believe in magic at least one more year.
