Author M. J. Foreman was raised in the military and every few years, if not every year, her family were moving and on to another adventure. It all began when she was very young. M. J. learned about different people and their cultures, beliefs, ways of life, and found out that no matter what they were, it was pretty much all the same. Her family liked to go on adventures, discovery new things, and try new things out. She discovered while going to college, that she loved to write and started to put her thoughts and ideas on paper. She began her new adventure 10 years ago and hasn't stopped yet. M. J. discovered that she could write children's books because everyone likes a new adventure and to go to places they have never been to before. Ms. Foreman carries a journal with her everywhere. She says that she never knows where she will be at when a thought of a new story will pop into her head. Then out of nowhere, her thoughts just run wild with and take her on another adventure. What better place to put your thoughts down than in a journal. M. J. knows she will be writing for a very long time because thoughts of a new story will come to her almost every day. She says that as long as there is pen and paper, she will keep on continuing her new adventures.
