Autorenporträt
She grew up on the High Plains of Colorado and attended college in Eastern Colorado. She raised her children while living on the treeless plains of the Oklahoma Panhandle. Barbara is an experienced businesswoman, farm wife, Sunday School teacher, substitute teacher, and community volunteer. She became a motivational speaker and leader, before giving herself the personal challenge of developing into a marathon runner. She and her husband, Jim, now call the Sangre de Cristo mountains their home. They are often joined by their children, grandchildren, family, and a host of friends. She is the author of the blog "BarbWire@plainsofchange.com". Barbara spends much of her time hiking among the mountains and trees of her beloved Colorado Her first children's book was born out of the stories and wisdom, of the life of people who believe.
