This story based on real-life events was written to help families explain the diagnosis of cancer to their children or grandchildren. I am hoping that this book will make things easier for children to understand and cope with a diagnosis of cancer in the family.

Autorenporträt
Darlene Louf I am from a little town outside of Boston, Ma. I am a mother, grandmother and a cancer survivor. I wrote this book as I was fighting cancer. I have taken my own life experiences and written them in the form of a children's book. I have always been a positive person. Having cancer only magnified my positivity. What kept me going along with my family and friends, was every day I woke up and said out load "I have cancer, it does not have me". I wrote this book as an aid for positivity in hope and healing.
