Weldon Owen is an imprint of Insight Editions, a publisher of illustrated books on food & drink, photography, music, and popular culture. Elegant and informative, Weldon Owen titles showcase the best of art, photography, and design in exquisite presentations of the bookmaker's craft. They are located in San Rafael, CA.  Tom Jackson has been a writer for more than 20 years. He has written over 100 books and contributed to many more, covering everything from climate change to axolotls to zoroastrianism. His specialities are zoology, natural history, technology, and all things scientific. Diana Ferguson is a writer and editor who has worked for many years in illustrated non-fiction for both adults and children. She has written a number of books on different subjects but myth and folklore remain her passion. Simon Mendez is an illustrator who takes particular pleasure in rendering images in exquisite detail often with an enchanting ethereal quality. He concentrates on conceiving mood lighting and creating compositions that are dynamic and engaging to draw the eye.  Val Walerczuk believes anything is possible when it comes to creating art.
