There is no doubt that the organization of work has undergone profound changes since the first forms of work appeared. Man in search of the best techniques to increase productivity found no better way than to develop certain tools for the needs of hunting or harvesting, man of that time was in his first organizational innovation. The primary objective was therefore to maximize production without any calculated or thoughtful rationality. Despite the various studies devoted to the history of the first organizational and managerial forms, it remains clear that this history is not independent of the history of the organization, however primary it may be. The various authors who have paid close attention to these questions have developed many convergent and divergent points of view on others. For us, the organization of the work preceded the scientific theories that came to introduce the science in the organization. This book comes therefore to analyze the main theories of organizations in a managerial vision.
