Ethel Gardner's journey from victim to victory began with the loss of her only son as she put her grief into helping others going through trauma. Ignoring the feeling of emptiness gnawing in her own soul, she tried to fill her life with doing and keeping busy. She prayed and journaled to write the wrongs in her life, but God hit the pause button. She had to surrender everything, focus on possibilities and purpose, move beyond the past, and just breathe!
