Full of quick, easy and fun dessert recipes, including Molasses Cake, Cinnamon Slumpy, pumpkin-all-sorts-of-sweet-things, homemade jams and nut butters too, and much more. The ingredients are easy to find and might already be in your kitchen. Most recipes contain oodles of variations, try them all! The recipes are easy enough for small children, with adult supervision. Older children can do many of these recipes themselves. Of course, adults will also enjoy making these varied desserts. How about two-ingredient, five minute, chocolate ice cream? Yum. Many of the recipes make great inexpensive gifts. Maybe your ten-year-old would love to whip up some homemade jam as a Christmas gift! Or a family cookie-making party will delight. Or you can easily bake a delicious birthday cake from scratch. One of the other cake recipes can be a nutritious dish to bring to a brunch. A batch of no-bake peanut butter cups creates a unique and tasty gift. Each recipe is introduced by a short story from the Mall Fairies series. Meet Swoop, One Wing, Grace and many more characters as they struggle with how to save the Cookie Lady's store, what five-inch-tall fairies do for a birthday cake, and other problems that can be solved by sweetness. Enjoy!
