The prequel is full of conflict, danger, love, exciting hunts and sorrow, there is even a little humor. It is the story about the life of a Neanderthal clan with all the ups and downs of everyday life during the Ice Age. Although this is a work of fiction, much of it could have taken place and I have tried to write a story that will engage the reader and entertain them. It is full of encounters and hunts for prehistoric animals such as: woolly rhinos, mammoths, muskoxen, bison, dire wolves, saber-toothed tigers, wild hogs, and others. The books in The Mammoth Slayer series have been my most popular works and I have written dozens of books of several genres.
