Autorenporträt
Waldrip received a bachelor's degree in education from Northern Arizona University and a law degree from the University of Arizona. At various times in his adult life, he has worked as a school teacher, door-to-door salesman, ditch digger, radio talk show host, and attorney. Waldrip is widely traveled throughout Central and South America, Europe, and Africa. Aside from his novels, his previous scribblings appeared in the anthologies "Eldritch Tales" and "Writers of the Desert Sage." Henry James is his favorite novelist. A native of Arizona, WF Waldrip's father died when he was five. He and his older siblings were raised by a single mother whose formal education ended with the eighth grade, largely by working as a cook and barmaid. The resulting uncertain income necessitated that Waldrip's family relocate frequently, including to Young, Show Low, and Payson, Arizona.
