Explore providing spiritual CPR during crises and offering care for church wounds, like unforgiveness and betrayal. Embrace the teaching of God's love for sinners while addressing their actions and discover how to heal wounded spirits. Dr. Stokes illuminates the path to becoming a spiritual helper and aiding those in need. D. Gwenette Stokes is a member of New Destiny Church Pastored by Bishop C. Carl Smith and Pastor Adrienne Smith. She received her Doctor of Ministry from North Central Theological Seminary in 2022. She is a Biblical teacher, administrator, and Editor-in-Chief of Women in Touch Newsletter. In addition to serving as the chief executive officer in her home, she is the mother of two married adult children and grandmother "Memaw" to two grandsons. Dr. Stokes has been a Christian Basic Training instructor, theme presenter for pastors' appreciations, speaker for the Nationwide Evangelism Training (N.E.T.) workshop, under the leadership of the late Pastor L.L. Cannon, Sr., and served as ministry leader for counseling/follow-through and orientation for new church members. She is also a recipient of the Outstanding Achievement in Poetry Award from the International Society of Poets, and has written and published several blogs entitled, Momentum Moms and Matters of the Heart. She strongly believes God's promise in Ephesians 3:20 which says, "Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us." One of her desires is to build up and encourage other believers in Christ, through the Word of God, and help them make application to those truths, so they may experience the abundant life, to the fullest, to the upmost, until it overflows, while advancing the Kingdom of God. Dr. Stokes is a native Californian and enjoys relaxing near the water, solving puzzles, research and development, and spending quality time with family and friends.
