In this second installment of The Hostage Chronicles you will once again come face to face with your darkest fears: the Demon of lust hellbent on collecting souls, a bumbling PI who stumbles upon evil beyond comprehension, a gum ball machine that you do not want in your possession, a wannabe pop star who will do anything to achieve success, an aging couple with a drastic decision to make, a manic priest, a charlatan fortune teller, and many more. There are eighteen stories in total, ranging from flash fiction to over ten-thousand words to take your imagination hostage! You will also meet characters, new and old, who are embroiled in a desperate hostage-taking. Roger Stafford's long history of being abused and an abuser culminates in a standoff in an office complex far above the Manhattan streets. The long-awaited final installment of his fantasy trilogy, The Zyphillium Connection, has been discovered, and becomes the catalyst for a wild weekend of violence. Those involved will stop at nothing to see that all of Roger's writing sees the light of day and their plans come to fruition. How the hostage drama plays out can only be revealed in The Hostage Chronicles II.
