Lucy Barnes led an unremarkable life... She lived with her two brothers and her father in the cozy, snowy little town of Algid under the oppressive jurisdiction of a future government called the Commune. ...until her world was turned upside down. After discovering that she was heir to a magical map which transported her to another world called Praxis, Lucy finds herself suddenly expected to learn to use the map's power to help save Praxis from the stirrings of a dark force.
