This book contains a mathematical theory of thin film evolution. It summarizes quite a large number of results as well as establishes new theoretical results on the subject. It will be a good introduction to the subject. The physical side of the theory is well connected with the mathematical side of the theory to introduce a unified approach for the mathematical theory of thin film evolution. It will be a good reference book for graduate students in mathematics and physics.
