Jenifer Kahn Bakkala is a professional genealogist and writer, specializing in New England and New York. She works as a freelance writer and researcher for the New England Historic Genealogical Society and is a reviewer for its quarterly journal, The Register. A graduate of Connecticut College, Jenifer is author of An American Family: Four Centuries of Labor, Love, and Reward-A Story of the Davis Family, published by Newbury Street Press in 2018.
