Middleton is a fourth-generation Texan who grew up in San Antonio and now lives near Galveston. She claims she escaped the law and professes to be a recovering attorney.Middleton writes, quilts, and enjoys her Skye terriers. She loves North Georgia and hopes to build a retirement home in the mountains overlooking the Cohutta Mountains next year.She has won awards for historical romance from the Pencraft Awards and the Texas Best Book Awards, and Author Shout has recognized her books as 'recommended reads.'
