Amy McMillin embarked on her physical therapy career in 2007 in the Cleveland area following her graduation from Walsh University. Over time, she sharpened her focus on inner ear disorders, migraines, and chronic dizziness, honing her expertise in these areas.In 2016, Amy obtained her Herdman Vestibular Certification from Emory University, showcasing her dedication to treating vestibular disorders. She also became an Impact Trained Physical Therapist (ITPT) for concussions, further expanding her skills and knowledge base.Recently, in 2023, Amy completed the Johns Hopkins University vestibular competency course, adding another layer of expertise to her repertoire.With a deep passion for assisting those struggling with chronic dizziness, Amy spent 15 years at a major hospital system in Cleveland, Ohio. However, during the Covid pandemic in 2020, she recognized the need to improve access to care for dizziness patients, who often face challenges with driving and accessing healthcare.This realization led Amy to establish her concierge Physical Therapy company, Custom Care Rehab, which offers personalized, in-home care for individuals dealing with dizziness. Over the past four years, Custom Care Rehab has flourished, allowing Amy to make a meaningful impact on the lives of her patients.Additionally, Amy is dedicated to educating and empowering a wider audience. She provides free, evidence-based advice on her YouTube channel, Treat Dizziness at Home, aiming to reach and help even more people suffering from dizziness with practical strategies and insights.
