It's for anyone interested in the difference between a reason and an excuse, anyone wanting to hear about living through trauma without embracing victimhood, anyone rooting for the underdog, or anyone who has ever been the underdog. Most importantly, it's for anyone who has ever felt less than, insecure, or unworthy and wants to hear from someone else who has been there but chose not to stay.

Jennifer lives in San Antonio, Texas, with her husband, Jess. Her four adult kids, Jake, Tyler, Logan, and Constance, all live nearby. Jen defines herself as being shamelessly smitten with her kids and holds her family as the most treasured part of her life. She spent the first half of her career as a nurse, providing direct patient care as a certified Trauma Nurse. For the past 15 years, she has led and supported organizations that serve underserved communities across the U.S. Jen is a co-founder and Principal of CURIS Consulting. She is a sought-after healthcare and leadership consultant and public speaker committed to positively changing the lives of others.
