Philosophie Man kann natürlich ein Buch nicht ernst nehmen, das versucht, die Frage nach dem Sinn des Lebens auf 158 Seiten abzuhandeln, zumal der Autor die Frage schon auf den ersten Seiten beantwortet: Der Sinn des Lebens ist offensichtlich, dass es keinen gibt - in Zahlen, nach Douglas Adams: "42". All denen, die wie die Menschen aus "Per Anhalter durch die Galaxis" die Frage vergessen haben, hilft Terry Eagletons gelassenes Buch "Der Sinn des Lebens" (Ullstein-Verlag, 18 Euro). Ein schmaler Band, aber gewaltig genug, um ihn allen jenen an den Kopf zu werfen, die glauben, die Antwort auf die Frage bestünde in einer Antwort.
