Autorenporträt
Julianna Joy Klassen has taught Sunday School and church women's groups for over forty years. She loves to teach because she says teachers must also be learners and she loves to learn. Julie has never been far from a sewing machine, whether it has been making drapery, etc. for their family decorating business, or professionally sewing garments, wedding dresses, and altering clothes. She also enjoys reading, writing, knitting, baking, word games, and coffee with friends. She has penned three previous books, Adventures of Heart Longing, Heart Longing and the Treasure Keys, and The Megillah of Esther, as well as co-authoring Mennonite Girls Can Cook, Mennonite Girls Can Cook: Celebrations, and Mennonite Girls Can Cook: Bread for the Journey. Julie lives in beautiful Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada with her husband Vic, not far from their married daughter and family.
