1 endorsement to follow The first dictionary dedicated to the work of Quentin Meillassoux and the controversies surrounding his thought The Meillassoux Dictionary is an accessible guide to one of the most exciting philosophers writing today. It defines all of the major terms of his work, prefaced by an introduction that argues for the importance of this new figure on the Continental philosophy scene. If you are starting with Meillassoux, this will be an important resource, with A-Z entries encapsulating key figures for Meillassoux, from Kant to Heidegger to Derrida, combined with analysis of the key terms in Meillassoux's work for understanding his often complex terminology. Entries are written by the top scholars in the field of speculative realism, often by those that highlight their own disagreements with him. This is not just a dictionary, but an opening onto one of the most lively debates in recent philosophy. Peter Gratton is Associate Professor of Philosophy at the Memorial University of Newfoundland. Paul J. Ennis is a writer based in Dublin. He is the founding editor of Speculations: Journal of Speculative Realism.
