Debra Bowling's first novel, The Memory of Flight received the 2015 Georgia Author of the Year Award, First Novel, and was an editor's pick by Story Circle Book Reviews. She has published essays, short stories, and poetry and was the Writer in Residence for Fairhope, Alabama in October, 2019.
