Todd DeFeo has studied railroads since growing up alongside the Northeast Corridor in New Jersey. He is editor of railfanning.org, a website dedicated to the railroad industry and its history, and founder of the DeFeo Groupe, an Atlanta-area content creation firm. A graduate of Denison University in Granville, Ohio, DeFeo earned a degree in history. As a newspaper reporter, he regularly wrote articles chronicling the history of the towns and communities he covered. One of his first such articles highlighted the Memphis, Clarksville & Louisville Railroad.
