As a school social worker and trauma-informed specialist, Dr. Elisme has dedicated over 30 years to serving children and families in South Florida and the Metro Atlanta area. She brings this wealth of experience to her work as an educator and life coach, helping kids and families feel better and do their best.Dr. Elisme's ability to connect with diverse communities is enhanced by her fluency in three languages: Haitian Creole, French, and English. When she's not writing or working with families, she enjoys reading, dancing, and cooking. Dr. Elisme believes in the power of kindness and wants all children to know that they can be brave, just like the heroes in her books.
